Reliable extension of serial connections: The serial extension allows existing RS232, RS422 or RS485 interfaces between PCs, servers and peripheral devices with 9-pin Sub-D connectors to be extended.
1:1 assignment without crossover: All pins are connected one-to-one and ensure direct signal transmission without zero modem function or crossover wiring.
9-pin Sub-D plug to socket: The combination of 9-pin plug and 9-pin socket allows easy extension of existing DB9 or COM port connections.
Moulded plug design: The moulded plugs support a stable mechanical connection and increase resistance in daily use.
Flexible application options: Suitable for serial interfaces in classic PC systems, control units or technical installations with RS232, RS422 or RS485.

The InLine serial extension with 9-pin Sub-D plug to 9-pin Sub-D socket is used to extend existing serial interfaces. It is suitable for RS232, RS422 and RS485 connections between PCs, servers or peripheral devices with a corresponding DB9 interface.

Thanks to the 1:1 pin assignment, all pins are directly connected. There is no cross-wiring. This means that the existing signal structure remains unchanged and the connection can be easily extended.

The moulded connectors support a stable mechanical connection and ensure long-lasting use in daily operation. The standardised 9-pin Sub D design allows easy integration into existing systems.

The cable is available in several lengths and offers a flexible solution for extending serial connections.
